Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the LunarQuote website, business referral marketplace and free Lunar AI Protection waitlist (the “Service”).
1. Referral service only
The Service helps businesses express interest in insurance relating to artificial-intelligence risks and facilitates contact with appropriately licensed insurance professionals when available. It also allows individuals to join the free waitlist for Lunar AI Protection, LunarQuote’s planned personal AI insurance product. The Service itself is not an insurance company, insurer, insurance policy, insurance agency or promise of insurance coverage.
2. No insurance is bound on this website
Information submitted through this website is not an insurance application and does not create, bind, change, renew or cancel insurance. Insurance coverage exists only when an authorized insurer or properly licensed insurance professional confirms that coverage has been bound in accordance with applicable law and the insurer’s requirements.
3. No guarantee of availability, price or eligibility
We do not guarantee that insurance will be available for any particular business, individual, AI use, state or risk. Lunar AI Protection is in development and no personal AI insurance policy is currently offered or bound through its waitlist. The target starting price around $4/month is a development goal, not a quote or promise. If a product launches, an authorized insurance structure and final policy terms will determine price, coverage, limits, deductibles, exclusions, conditions and eligibility.
4. Policy controls
Any description of possible risks or categories of insurance on this website is general educational information. If there is any conflict between this website and an actual insurance policy, quote, binder or endorsement, the applicable insurance contract and related documents control.
4A. AI Policy Scanner
If you use the AI Policy Scanner, you authorize the Service to process text extracted from the policy documents you select for the limited purpose of producing the automated review. Scanner output is informational and may contain errors or omissions. It is not a coverage opinion, legal interpretation, insurance recommendation, underwriting decision, claim decision, quote or binder. You are responsible for having important policy questions reviewed by an appropriately licensed insurance professional and, when appropriate, legal counsel.
5. Third-party insurance professionals
When you submit a business coverage request and consent to sharing, we may transmit that request to eligible independent licensed agents, brokers, producers, agencies, wholesalers, MGAs or other insurance-market participants. A personal AI waitlist signup alone is not routed as a business lead. Those third parties are responsible for their own advice, licensing, insurance transactions, privacy practices and services.
6. Your information
You agree to provide accurate information and not submit confidential trade secrets, protected health information, passwords, access credentials or detailed sensitive records through the general lead form. Insurance-specific information should be provided directly to the licensed insurance professional through the process they designate.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with site operation, submit fraudulent information, scrape the Service in a manner that disrupts it, or use the Service for unlawful activity.
8. Intellectual property
The website design, original text, branding and software are owned by their respective owners and may not be copied or republished except as permitted by law.
9. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing on this website is legal, tax, accounting or insurance advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of this Service will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages arising from use of the Service, third-party conduct, or the availability or non-availability of insurance.
11. Partner Marketplace Agreement
Approved insurance partners operate under a separate, versioned Partner Marketplace Agreement and Commercial Schedule. The partner signs that agreement electronically through the secure partner workspace before commercial lead routing can be activated. The signed record preserves the agreement version, signer identity and authority attestation, signing timestamp, Commercial Schedule, document hashes and related audit metadata. If a material pricing or routing term changes, the changed schedule requires a new partner signature before activation.
Approved partners receive leads without a per-lead or monthly platform fee during free early access. Any future paid terms would be communicated separately and require the applicable signed Commercial Schedule before charges begin. Unless a separate legally compliant written arrangement expressly states otherwise, any future LunarQuote fees are not a percentage of insurance premium and are not conditioned on whether an insurance policy is sold or bound.
12. Partner billing and Auto Reload
Prepaid marketplace credits, partner checkout and Auto Reload are disabled during free early access. LunarQuote will not automatically charge an approved partner merely for joining or receiving an early-access lead. If paid features are introduced later, the applicable signed agreement and Commercial Schedule will describe the fees and any optional payment settings before they are enabled. Auto Reload would require a partner’s separate affirmative authorization and spending limits.
13. Electronic records
Where LunarQuote offers electronic acceptance or signature, the parties may agree to conduct the transaction electronically. Electronic records are retained in a form intended to be capable of later retrieval and reproduction. Business counterparties may print or save signed records from the applicable workspace.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms as the marketplace, licensing structure and partner network develop. The updated date above will reflect material revisions.
