How LunarQuote verifies licensing, appetite and routing fit

An application starts the review. It does not establish that an organization can receive customer information or serve every risk listed in its profile.

Prepare verifiable organization details

Provide the legal agency or business name, relevant agency and producer information, licensed states and identifying license or NPN details where applicable. LunarQuote records the verification source, date, status, expiration where available, authority and recheck information. A public website or a self-attestation alone is not independent license verification.

For Texas, the Department of Insurance provides an official lookup path. Other jurisdictions and organization types need the appropriate authority review.

Define usable appetite

Tell the marketplace which customer types, coverage categories, industries and states you can actually support. Personal and commercial capability are reviewed separately. Product or market access and current capacity matter alongside licensing. Keep information current when appointments, products, staff availability or authority change.

Understand customer information controls

Customer sharing depends on consent and operational eligibility checks. An unverified, expired, suspended or incompatible license must not support affected routing. A paused organization should not receive new opportunities. Signed agreements and the applicable commercial schedule are also part of activation; application approval is not a guarantee of volume.

When the network is unavailable

LunarQuote can pause automatic routing while saving customer requests. A saved request is not a promise of an immediate connection. During early access, partner lead charges and auto-reload are disabled. Any future paid mode requires the applicable written terms and a separate activation process.

Contact support when your verification record or eligibility appears incorrect. Do not bypass the marketplace review by requesting private customer details outside the authorized workflow.

Primary sources

Sources provide general context. The checklists and examples are LunarQuote educational material. An insurer reference does not imply a LunarQuote partnership, appointment or endorsement.

General educational information, not insurance or legal advice. LunarQuote does not sell, recommend or bind insurance. Licensed professionals review actual products, facts and policy terms.
